Events at Shedfield Lodge

We’re so proud of every single member of our Shedfield Lodge family. Thank you for everything you do to make our home so special, so warm, and so full of heart.

Most importantly, thanks to your kindness and support, we’ve raised vital funds for Mountbatten Hampshire – helping them continue their amazing work.

The Utilita Bowl was the Venue for the 2024 Hampshire Care Association Award Ceremony and it proved to be another successful evening for the Shedfield Lodge Team!

Massive thanks to everyone that helped make our "Country & Western" Summer Fete such a success for our residents! 
We managed to raise just over £1100.00 on the day, taking our total fund raising for Henry's Disney Trip to just over £11,000!!!

As well as Care Home of The Year, we picked a few more awards including Chef of the Year for Kelly, in recognition of the efforts she goes to ensure dietary preferences and requirements are satisfied

Thank you to everyone who sponsored Liss to spend the night alone in the cellar on All Hallows' Eve!! Liss raised an incredible £615! Thank you all so much & a massive 'Well Done' to Liss!!

Marking the 1st anniversary of Henry's passing, our team will be walking from Shedfield Lodge to The Oaks Crematorium, in Havant, in our continued effort to raise funds & awareness of Mitchell Syndrome

Our team are more than just work colleagues, we are a family. And as most families do, when one member is finding life difficult or having a tough time, we all pull together and support each other, that's why this year's Summer Fete is in memory of Henry

It was a fantastic night at the St Mary's Stadium celebrating all that is good in the Care Sector. Dr Dawn Harper Was the special guest, presented no less than 2 Awards to our team.

To be voted Residential Care Home of The Year was a massive honour for us, especially in a year where so many homes excelled in keeping their residents safe, while maintaining relationships with their loved ones.  It was a struggle but with planning, coordination & collaboration with families we all got through it.

2019's Summer Fete celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the iconic film, The Wizard Of Oz.

We had an amazing reaction to our raffle, that saw us raise of £430 for a very special little girl, Eva, the grand-daughter of Val, one of our team. Eva was living with Rett Syndrome.​

For the second year running, on Saturday 15th June 2019, we took part in War On The Line at stations along the Watercress Line. We do this in memory of a gentleman that used to live at Shedfield Lodge and to recognise the loss of 395 railway staff that were killed and over 2400 that were injured while on duty between 1939 and 1945.​

Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the movie 'Grease' we become Pink Ladies & T Birds for the day! It was a real rock 'n' roll party with lashings of 1950's Americana!

We had arranged a 1940's day out on the Watercress Line to celebrate the 100th Birthday of a special gentleman living at the Lodge, but sadly he passed away before the day, so in his honour we dressed up, went ahead and used it as an opportunity to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research & raise awareness of dementia.

After the success of previous fetes, we carried on with the war-time theme but went more for the 'GI' look! There was a real Victory Party feel to the day and of course we had the impromptu photo taken that has now become iconic in the Shedfield Lodge history book!

Our Summer Fete had a 1940's theme with all the team dressing up as soldiers, nurses & land girls! We had the local farm animals stop by, lots of fun & games for everyone to enjoy!
